The Child and Family Research Partnership (CFRP) is an independent, nonpartisan research center at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. The group is also part of the LBJ School’s Center for Health and Social Policy (CHASP). Our work focuses on issues related to young children, teens, and their parents.
CFRP is directed by Dr. Cynthia Osborne, one of the nation’s top child and family policy scholars. Dr. Osborne founded the Child and Family Research Partnership, The University of Texas at Austin’s only center specializing in family policy research, in 2011. Today, CFRP is the go-to resource for rigor, expertise, and collaborative partnership for national and state policymakers and leaders who work with the most vulnerable children and families.
CFRP engages in rigorous qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation work for federal and state agencies and a variety of non-governmental organizations. We provide a full range of services including:
- large-scale research design
- survey development and administration
- complex data management
- in-depth data analysis
- synthesis of findings for stakeholders.
